Ultimate Santana tribute Band

Scott is a versatile and passionate guitarist with a love for r&b, funk, rock and latin music.  He has played throughout Florida in bands such as Evolushon, Sheila and the Sound and currently the Ultimate Santana band. He brings the look, sound and energy of Santana to his shows.

Markie Blaze brings his gritty blues and rock style of vocals to Ultimate Santana tribute band. Markie is a seasoned vocalist with experience as a lead singer for several New York and central Florida bands as well as singing at corporate events.

He was born and raised in Puerto Rico. Orlando is the first Puerto Rican artist in Orlando Fl area. to be recognized by the Congress of the United States for his Music Career Contribution. These are some of the artists that he has worked with: Stevie Wonder, Donna Summers, Backstreet Boys, Nell Carter, Irene Cara, Paquito de Rivera, Alex Lingetwood (SANTANA former singer) to name a few. His highlight was playing in a song with the legendary Tito Puente, Sheila E., Mikey Hart, Jon Secada and many more receiving the 2000 Year for ABC. Chris started playing music at 16 as a guitar player, then found his love for keyboards after attending his first Styx concert. He then played in various bands in and around the Pennsylvania and New Jersey area. Chris has worked with original bands such as Alliance, a New Jersey based band which has appeared on the Uncle Floyd show as well as China Blue, a Rally, North Carolina based band which has had radio air play. Chris has also worked with such heavy hitters as Robert Hazard who wrote Cindy Lauper's "Girls Just Want to Have Fun", as well as, Philadelphia Motown producer Weldon A McDougal who discovered the Jackson 5. Since moving to Florida, he has worked with such artists as joe Trippi, Frankie and the West End Boy's, Bad Company's Brian Howe, Ultimate Floyd, and steel guitar hall of fame artist Wally Murphy.

Jim Lucas is an experienced bassist with a mixed style of jazz, reggae and rock.  He has been playing bass since the late 90s with the Brass band at Universal Studios, Coco Loco Tropical band, Reunion Rock and Roll Band and Bleeker street.

Since studying percussion from 9 years old, Guy has played a very diverse spectrum of percussion instruments and styles. From classical studies in college, rudimental snare drumming success in some of the best Drum & Bugle Corps (world champion Blue Devils in 1982), to broadening his drumming in diverse cultural situations (Afro Cuban, Salsa, Brazilian, etc.). Guy met Orlando Sanchez, our bands percussionist, in 1990 and studied congas, bongos, timbales, etc. Ultimately Guy and Orlando became great friends and band mates in Salsa bands, Latin Jazz bands, and 12 years together in a Disney percussion group “The Village Beatniks”, which consisted of some of the best percussionists in central Florida and even the world.

Angel Rios is an great addition to the Ultimate Santana tribute band and brings forth over 30 years experience as a latin percussionist in timbales and conga.
